Zannetou 15

Private Apartment Block, 2011, Nicosia

Zannetou 15 project introduces six 165m² apartment units, located in the centre of the business district area of Dhasoupolis Nicosia.
The glass, steel, white concrete building, re-positions the relation between public and private systems. The multi dimensions organic curved facade becomes the filter, “boundary” for screening external “noise” between the users and the public.
Specific openings, frame views towards the city and vice versa, providing simultaneously natural light into specific area throughout.
At lower level where the pool is located a proposed communal recreational area is provided where all users interact, obstructed from public viewing from the outside.
