Private House, 2012, Limassol

Situated on the edge of a natural escarpment in Ayios Tychonas, the house offers panoramic views throughout, the marina and to the sea beyond.
A proposed concrete envelope facing, south – west, were the living and sleeping areas are located, inserted within the existing terrain and projecting towards the sea and above the ground, supported by a single steel beam “casted” in the ground, allows for spectacular views throughout the horizon. By excavating a generated hidden “pocket” below the concrete structure allows for additional programme and space, to interact with the existing surrounding topography.
Entrance is achieved from the road level above the house with the use of lifts both for visitors and vehicles.
