H-House
Private House, 2013, Limassol
The proposed house situated on the ridges of the rocky hillsides of Ayia Paraskevi, is conceived by the bold purity of the existing topography that co-exists in harmony with the endless views of the majestic Limassol seaside. The proposal becomes a horizontal bridge between the two sides of the site re-positioning the user within the broader urban fabric, allowing for un-interrupted views of the city, seaside and vice-versa. Landscape and structure co-exist in an attempt to create a synergy between the interior and exterior, dissolving the transitional boundaries, re-configuring the spatial and programmatic organization of the proposal into a “fluid” experience. The bedrooms located in the upper level, project above the horizontal envelope, “bridge” on the lower level, offering un-interrupted panoramic views towards the endless blue horizon.
