Winery Bar, 2005, Old Port Marina Limassol
Project W is a small scale temporary structure, Winery Bar introduced on the western breakwater barrier on the Old Port Marina in Limassol.
The building is a light weight structure, placed on location for a short amount of time, hosting small scale events for a private local winery company located nearby.
The proposal is generated as a fragment, projection of the existing urban access linking the Winery with the proposed Bar, Old – New part of the city.
The surfaces supporting the structure, transform into projecting surfaces during nighttime, re-animating formal and programmatic qualities of the project accordingly.
