Private Apartment Block, 2002, Nicosia

The proposed project consists of three 300m² single floor apartments overlooking an existing park in the area of Engomi.
The conceptual perception of the proposed building introduces a monolithic cube block, divided into three equal segments, with the middle one shifting and projecting towards the park.
The daring, direct architectural approach aims to diverse the pre-concept architectural characteristics of the existing area and its surroundings.
Articulated to take advantage of the endlessly shifting qualities of natural light and views of the park, living space, kitchen, dining and bedrooms are arranged in an open plan layout allowing consisted flow of programme.
A pool area is introduced at lower level with additional space for recreational areas and additional programme.
